Kaori didn't lay a finger to help Ryo or Saeko. Kaori was busy watching too much television 📺. Kaori got a lot of grudge against Saeko. Kaori didn't show any sympathy to Saeko after Asakura's death.

Saeko may be the inspector and the detective, but she is not a killer or the murderer! Saeko is definitely not the monster like those scumbags Lin Ho Shen and his brother. Saeko's heart is just totally broken after the death of Asakura, who was her old friend and ex-lover that she has already been dumped by. Saeko couldn't even avenge Asakura and his late family even after the defeat of Lin Ho Shen, who she was going to kill with the gun that she stole from one of the enemies. But at least Saeko still has Ryo even though she won't be able to see him again for the rest of the series after that episode. A little bit of sympathy might earn her respect.

Saeko is the death 💀 goddess. Every man like Asakura that she comes close to dies. Ryo would be next to go someday. If I were Ryo, I would run 🏃‍♂️.

Hideyuki was killed by Red Pegasus. Asakura was killed by the Hong Kong Mafia. Any men Saeko loves and/or comes close to dies. Saeko was the man's killer when she was using men for her own amusement. History repeated if Ryo is next to die. Ryo won't die just yet. It is just the old bad habit that Ryo always flattering himself just to be a survivor, let alone as the City Hunter. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Saeko should learn her lesson by now. Not only she using men for bloodsport, but she also using them as guns for her own amusement.

Ryo killed Lin Ho Shen's unnamed brother by kicking him to hot liquid and avenging Asakura's death. Saeko was getting her revenge by killing the Hong Kong Mafia leader Lin Ho Shen to avenge her ex-lover Asakura, who wanted to settle the score with Lin Ho Chen for the murder of his wife Chan Lee and his daughter Yumiko. Saeko was hesitant to kill Lin Ho Shen because she saw him scared of death, so she fired the Webley MK IV "Duty" model gun she stole from the enemy in the sky and spared him. Saeko would have killed Lin Ho Shen and avenged Asakura when she had the chance, but that would make her the murderer. Saeko told Lin Ho Shen after the gunshot that if she were to kill him too quickly, she'll be going too easy on him. But that is what Asakura wants. Asakura asks Saeko for her help to apprehend Lin Ho Shen, who has escaped to Japan. In the end, Lin Ho Shen was arrested, and Saeko was crying on Ryo's shoulder without her handkerchief. Ryo and Saeko embrace each other as the sun rises, and Asakura can rest peacefully. Saeko can be weak sometimes. Saeko usually caught or put herself in danger, especially when it comes to target and firing at her enemies. Even if it means killing them, nevertheless.. Especially when it comes to setting things right, let alone make it right. More or less. Despite her transgressions of both deceit and lust, Saeko is still one of the good guys. This was the last time that Ryo and Saeko team up together in the series.

I hate the 11th episode of the 4th City Hunter TV series. I hated Saeko for not only for being so weak but also for not killing off the murderer and didn't even avenged Asakura and his late family. Kaori was not even there with them to help out due to her grudge against Saeko for a long time. In the aftermath, I pity Saeko. Saeko is just not femme fatale enough to kill any enemies. Ryo won't die. Saeko won't die. It is just the old bad habit of theirs to flattering themselves. Nothing more. Nothing less. That is all I have to say about this sad and heartbreaking episode.
