i know later on hawks reveals himself to be a little more starry-eyed than this, but i've always liked him better as the jaded guy who's a little bit done with everything, including his job and himself lol. not to say that he doesnt still have heroic ideals at the end of it, he just... sees the flaws in the system, yknow? and i always figured he deals with Bad ThingsTM using a copious amount of dry and somewhat morbid humour haha. but anyways.
(also, get lit? get it? i mean with rumi it's a party invite, but with dabi, it's like, literally with fire? hahaha...ha....... i like my dad jokes don't @ me.)

haha this is amazing, oh god why did you have to hurt me with that Dabi fight though, as funny as that was. I read your description and I think Hawks has a very interesting duality to him, where he is that jaded guy that sees the flaws in the system like you said and tends to cope with humor, but he also has a certain idealism and tries to remain optimistic. Kinda reminds me of myself actually lol, in some ways I can be kinda pessimistic but I still try to stay true to my ideals and see the good in the world. Well, like I said, I try anyway. 😂

i use procreate to draw, and for this animatic i edited with premiere pro! lots of panels, and also lots of using google drive as a go-between as i drew and edited l o l. im glad u find it fun to watch! :)
