This is legit like listening to my aunt and uncle describe their first experience with 'Mexican' food. My aunt unwrapped her burrito, only to find it had another layer of wrapping (the tortilla). She proceeded to unwrap that, and then described what she saw as 'a complete mess'. They went on to say they weren't even provided with any cutlery. I just stared at them in wonder.

I love to eat but I have no courage for exotics. Beef, pork, poultry, legumes and starches please. Living around the world I have learned to be very polite in declining certain dishes that make me squeamish without offense to the hosts. The real problem is when a drinker wants to offer me a beer (I am an alcoholic dry for 35 years) and I say I prefer a Coca Cola. Our model club commitee threw out one aggressive ass who made every offer a for alcohol a fight to say no. Prefering a soft drink was a huge insult to that aggressive, bad tempered moron. He ousting was unanimous by the 62 members and the ambience returned to wonderful. I fear for his girlfriend. She seems trapped and terrified of him. He is a dangerous coward without the social inhibitions that most of us have. Wow, I went off subject. I don't see many people each day so I tend to ventilate here a little bit. I'm just lonely.

Yes but J. K Rowling wanted to make the Dursley's seem worse by making them live in a more affluent area of Britain and being business owners .
