After watching this video on Happenings, I was inspired to find the video of the song “The Happening” by The Supremes. Came out in 1967. Wonder if the Happenings in Amsterdam and elsewhere inspired the song? Great series by the way. Loving it!

Since 1940 Dutch Policy carry revolvers yes. But riot police not so much i’m guessing. Since these days the riot police also just carry batons and shields.
