I have been enjoying your Playlist and I am very impressed by your dedication to the art of Aquscaping !!! I am always happy to use airline tubing for the majority of reasons and over the years I have been looking at the items I am seeking to make it work even better, nothing really works as good as the way you are patiently removing,,but have you ever tried to attach a reusable drinking straw ? I like the extra weight on the end so whenever I see a small object that I can try it on and on the safety of my fish, shrimp it has happened 1 time my Betta swam to close to the suction and I wasn't paying attention so that is why I like to have a rigid drinking straw .... having my hand slightly bending it and I am much quicker to bend it pausing for a few seconds etc. I have many more to share with you but I will leave you with a little extra step to make it work even better, if you have a little larger size tube and as long as you want it to be, about how long as a straw....so now that you have the larger tube over the other tube you are vacuuming with the tube inside has the ability to lift up more at once but instead of sucking everything in , the larger tube creates the lighter ( fish waste , uneaten food , plant wastes ) particles to stay suspended and the heavy sand & substrate etc. will usually fall back ...if I have made it to confusing I apologize for that, and if you feel like it is a good idea for you to try 🙃 just one thing I have to add is the two tube need to have the larger one lower than the main tubing to create the suction and not sucking EVERYTHING 🥤🥤
