The terminal program was the only program anyone used. It had a familiar scrollbar, clipboard, & save feature for windows users. Eventually everyone moved to xterm for better use of screen space. At least the calendar & email programs paid for a few MIT graduate's mortgages.

interesting, I'm planning install a compatible version on a DL-380 G4, which I hope is possible. Also, what you do on the workstation typically, is it just for fun, are doing any meaningful work on it
