If you learn coding you can ahead with it. If you want to do Mtech and are ok with teaching and research you can opt You want to do MS in the US it is ok If you are ok to do MBA then also you can choose

nahi hai bhai 20lakhs ka civil se toh better hai koi aur colege mein cse lelo... Answering this only on the basis of placements otherwise they have good labs, research facilities, technical visits , etc.

@@akshitaguru This would still leave you with a difference of three subjects between your desired major and your present major(Civil). It would be next to impossible to do three UWE's in your second semester apart from three normal subjects and two CCC's(core common curriculum courses) because of issues of clash in timings, the difficulty of doing 8 courses and a challenge of keeping up a good CGPA doing 8 courses. Moreover, change in branch is also subject to availability of vacancies in that particular branch. Please talk to the concerned authorities for any extra queries.
