True but a aberration is seen in Kashi Vishwanath temple, the Kashi Vishwanath temple broken & made into mosque but Nandi is still waiting for his master to come into original sanctum.

I think in this case Swami means the "vahana" when the lord comes out sitting on the bull, probably the "showing back to the lord" was a comedic reference by Swamiji. But in Tiruvannamalai on the Giri Pradakshina path there is a temple where the bull faces away from the Shiva in the temple but faces towards Arunachala Shiva the mountain

If I am wrong, please pardon me. Bhagavan shiva is incharge of death or destruction. Death comes very slowly. Ten or thirty years passed away without your knowledge. You married, got child. Married your child. 70 years gone. Bull moves like that SLOWLY is representation and death comes ( bhagavan shiva comes). God is APPRAMEYAM (cannot be seen) says vedas. So where is bull or bhagavan shiva. So is Sri vishnu. He has eagle. Because HE is incharge of sustainable. Eagle speed required for rescuing you. Sarhyanarayan
