The song 'Varaharoopam' was a major part of the beauty of the film. It is very sad that the song was omitted from the film. 'VARAHAROOPAM ' is not based on same set of Ragas as ' Navarasam ' by popular Kerala-based band Thykoodam Bridge. 'Varaharoopam ' is predominantly based on the Ragas Thodi , Mukhari and Kanakaangi. In Carnatic compositions , a singer traditionally sings atleast two to four lines in the same Raga before they move to the next one , but here , almost each line was sung in a different Raga. And the mood of both the tracks are different. 'Navarasam ' depicted nine Bhavas(emotions) , whereas 'Varaharoopam ' concentrated on the Bhoota Kola culture , a native culture in Karnataka and was more about divinity. However, I cannot agree with the judgment of the Court ( Palakkad Principal Sessions Court ). After a movie becomes a huge success, many people have tried to destroy that movie. It was a film that could have won a National Award or an Oscar. ❤❤

The so called composition thief Loknath should have minimum guts to accept his mistake. 1st Rishabh and then Loknath said its purely their composition and then later when the issue spiked up and many ppl identified the similarity, Loknath said in a local youutbe interview that he was inspired by Navarasam. FYI, this issue is not based on ragas. Its about song arrangement. Identify the issue 1st before speaking so much abt something which is not even related to the issue. NAVARASAM potrays how a noble traditional art like Kathakali is being killed by the evils of the society. If I say it, the 2hr+ movie Kantara itself is inspired from the 5-6 minute song NAVARASAM. and FYI, this is not the 1st time that idiot Loknath is stealing song from Thaikkudam. If he / Rishabh was descent in their works, they could have given the proper rights to the band like they got for the song Aagasam from the movie Soorai Potru.

They should have just given the credit. Anyone who has listened to both songs can easily see that Varaharoopam is heavily inspired by Navarasam. This has nothing to do with Malayalees trying to kill Kannada cinema. It is normal for artists to feel annoyed when their work is brazenly copied. If you claim that Varaharoopam is an original work, you are just lying.

Dude, i dont know who you are. See, if someone come to your house without asking you and started staying and doing manythings like that is his house, how do you react ??? if you behave according to you, you just welcome and worship him and tell him to do anything he want. If you behave liek thaikkudam bridge, you 1st talk with them and tell them to leave. and if they are not leaving, you will file a case. This is what happened here. If you are saying about ragas, similar thing in the example case is being human ideology. Both are humans, and the house is built for humans, if you are saying abt raga perspective.
