Classic 90s Soul ful smoove piano house track by the Superb RIP Louise aka Shiva Work it out Even in 2024 Timeless
@djgeneralbounce3 жыл бұрын
Almost 30 years later and Louise still stands out as one of the best and most distinctive house vocalists of all time IMO. Her vocals on this and Freedom are timeless. Such a shame she was taken from us before she even had a chance to shine, she would've brought us some incredible music over the last 26 years.

I still remember this track like it were yesterday and, of course, the sad tragedy that took this amazing vocalist from the world. 😢 Thank God for KZbin - hopefully more people will hear her beautiful voice with access to her songs on here ❤

Such a beautiful and talented young woman taken away from us just as her career was about to become legendary, in my eyes she was legendary and her music along with Shiva was a huge inspiration to me and the house music scene in 1995 and to this day. R.I.P Louise your legend lives on. xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx

Louise was killed in a hit and run in 1995, on Manchester Road in Huddersfield. I remember it like it was yesterday. Albeit I was only 5 years old. Unmistakable voice! RIP

After all these years,I still love this tune and Louise's voice. She really was a very beautiful and talented singer,destined for great things in her career. A sad sad loss indeed but her soul and music lives on. RIP Louise x

I saw her at one of the Hacienda birthday parties in Manchester(Saturday ?) and she sang this. Was great. The next thing I hear on Kiss 102 is that she'd been killed by a hit and run driver in Wednesday. Still makes me sad to think about it, even more so as this is one of my favourite songs of all time. 😪

So awesome! Such a shame that she was killed. Thanks for this! I've been looking for it for years. I first heard it in a dance-mix compilation CD called Platinum on Black.

its not exactly club friendly tho.. plus its too short.. for us old skoolers.. its the young lot who love their short tunes cos they have no attention span lol..

@@DJSBOldSkoolHouseso true, it’s all EDM with no vocals and they stand about taking selfies to show everyone what a good time they’re having but too embarrassed to dance in case someone films them and it goes viral for people to laugh at

I’m not aware of anything no. I used to go to all their gigs when I was a child with my mother as her, Louise and Gino were great friends. I was 5 years old when Louise died and I remember it like it was yesterday. They had performed on TOTP but obviously as a child I didn’t realise how huge they could’ve been, and it wasn’t until I was older that I appreciated how talented she was.
