My brother and I created a "gun egregor" before he moved out of this house. He responded by saying, "Ch-" as he looked to the side and called the police. They were clearly engaging in a paranormal investigation, and asked very strange questions before arresting him. Get these things to make that sound. After all, that's how their mental law works. They can't fight their own logic when you strike it in such a manner. They're hitchhikers who are so delusional they can't always tell themselves apart from you, so yourself saying the sound should work well enough. It doesn't have any anxiety inducing effect on me for example, quite the opposite; though they're currently focusing a lot of power to make it look like it doesn't.
