Exactly people need to know! Why we kumaonis are like this? We are always uttarakhandi first always introduce ourselves as uttarakhandi whereas garhwalis introduce themselves as garhwalis first! Even she said that she is from uttrakhand she could have mentioned that she is from kumaon as well! But she didn't! That's how we lose our identity! People have started claiming our culture! Garhwalis have started wearing pichoda! This is so annoying!

@@Om_Namo_Naarayanaya Yes you are right But I am gadwali and I introduce myself as Uttrakhandi only. Then if someone asks me what region I am from I tell them I am from gadwal. Not all people do that. Some do and yes about capturing the picchoda culture I also find it annoying that why do gadwali people claim it as theirs? Don't we have a lot of ours? The thing is Kumaoni households are still rich in holding traditions whereas Gadwali ones are not!! So when you are empty you fill anything you find related to UK this is the sad part about upbringing and all. But again it's okay because I am a gadwali and I am not like this and kudos to creator didi who upholds her tradition.
