In other countries dark skinned people don’t use lighter foundations. Foundation is supposed to hide your blemishes. It is not supposed to make you fairer. If a person uses light coloured foundation on dark skin, it will make them look grey. No wonder why north indian dark skinned women look ashy af after applying a foundation that is 5 shades lighter.

Hi Shivangi. i was looking for a video just like yours. I'm glad I saw it. Exactly the makeup that I would like to learn to do for weddings. Actually I have a request, if you could give a few makeup tips for me. I am 67 years old, fair complexion. For example, my eyebrows are very thin. There is slight pigmentation on the nose . I have never used eye makeup. I feel it doesn't suit me. But still, I would like to do something which would make them stand out. The whole face changes with that. But I don't know what to do. Been doing very basic make up till now. But now I want to explore a little more especially when I have to attend weddings or parties. I really liked the natural look of yours in this video. I am sure to be following your videos from now on. Thanks a lot for explaining it so well and so simply. Apologies for such a long message. Waiting eagerly for your response.
