What an amazing and touching episode. This is really touched me personally because even I felt I was a failure and never did enough to make people around me proud and happy with what I do. I know it’s never too late to invest and learn new things about the market. I would love to learn more from Simran, she really knows what she is talking about. Keep up with the great episodes and interviews, Shivani!!!!!

I have 35% of my capital investments in an IRA, 25% in index funds, and the balance spread across other investment accts totalling over $250k. I took a big hit in Q2, 2023. Right now i am just looking for ways to recover in 2024.

There are a lot of strategies to make tongue-wetting profit especially in this down market, but such sophisticated trades can only be carried out by proper market experts

I agree with you. I started out with investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash. I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000

This is all new to me, where do I find a fiduciary, can you recommend any??
@georgestone012328 күн бұрын
“Julianne Iwersen Niemann” is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an email shortly.

Hi Shivani, thank you and Simran for doing this episode together. I loved it! I learnt a lot and really resonated with a handful of things that were said! It’s fantastic to see you both making personal finance more accessible to women of all backgrounds; it is incredibly inspiring! Thank you:)

Also, for anyone who hasn’t read Simran’s ‘Girls Who Invest’ I HIGHLY recommend checking it out! It’s one of the best introductory books to investing out there! A great foundation to start your financial literacy journey!

Maybe I missed it, but how exactly did Simran turn $8000 into $1.3 million? She’s 28 years old. I’m trying to explain how this is possible to my daughter but am struggling. She’d have to invest $2000 a week for 10 years (age 18-28) to reach 1.3m @7% return. Surely impossible for anyone living independently of their parents and earning an average wage.

Probably by starting her own business

Hello, thanks for this conversation, tho sadly hard to listen to :( Would you kindly check the mic gains prior to recording? The guests voice is too quiet and would you kindly think about not 'MHHHHM'-ing all the time super loud in your already too loud mic? It really is distracting to me :( One Love! Always forward, never ever backward!! ☀️☀️☀️ 💚💛❤️ 🙏🏿🙏🙏🏼

Interesting, I don't hear any victim cards. Consider that these might possibly be your own projections. It's a little sad that this is all you have to say of a conversation that's informative, empowering, earnest and genuine.
