I love this product as well and it's cool seeing you so amped about it! If I can nerd out for a second: Calcium Bentonite is actually pretty rare...most bentonite clays sold are sodium (Na) bentonite which isn't as ideal. This calcium bentonite clay is from Death Valley, California/Nevada...and I can tell you from personal experience this area is amazing. I was camping out and got some bad poisen oak, and some guy recommended I go find some hot springs nearby to soak in. I was surprised...hot springs in Death Valley?? So finally found them and soaked all night and when I got out the next morning all the poisen oak was gone and scars were totally healed...so yeah, I was so excited to see this was from there.

Heather R I can respect your OPINION... However, my dermatologist said the ASV WITH MOTHERS is better to use.. I use it in my hair, on my face, my body, and I drink it twice a day... ACV has MANY benefits.. so, although it may be strong for you... you are UNINTENTIONALLY giving deceiving information about this product (ACV)... hope this helps add to the conversation :-) cheers! It's a matter of CHOICE and what works for everyone. I guess my statement should've been more specific. If, that works for you cool. I prefer water which works the same for me. ;)
@chanelbby10007 жыл бұрын
Heather R girl, hush. Apple cider vinegar is great for your skin. It helps adjust the skin's pH level. All one has to do is add some water to it so it won't be too acidic (stop going around promoting this non sense).
@humor19738 жыл бұрын
I purchased this clay about two months ago and have not used it yet, but after seeing your daughter's hair, I cannot wait. If you have dry skin, bentonite clay will further dry it out. For dry skin you are better off using pink Kaolin clay. I've used bentonite clay in the past and because my skin is dry I had to stop using it and I switched to pink or white Kaolin clay but it never dawned on me to try the clay in my natural hair so I am going to give it a whirl. The apple cider vinegar acts as an astringent to your scalp too. I need to get back to making my skin care products. My first time watching you and I am subscribing. Thanks!

I wash mai hair with this, and I love it, leaves mai hair soft as hell! mai mix is 1 cup black tea water, 1/2 cup fenugreek water, 1 teaspoon olive oil(or and oil you like) 2 drops of tea tree oil and 1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar. lightly wash hair with doctor Bonner natural soap one time first, then go over with this mix! rinse out till water runs clear and there you go no conditioner needed!

it could be you are allergic to it you can try using filtered water
@ofthebeanvariety8 жыл бұрын
+Nicky John Tingling is normal, though it should not be painful. As +Shanell Pittman (SNELL) mentioned, you might be allergic or senstive to acv; you can try another vinegar in its place. You could try to spot treat instead of doing a full on mask. Maybe start with water and work towards using the acv, or leaving it on for a shorter amount of time. I find the clay to be a pain to mix with water only. Something to keep in mind, is that the clay is rather alkaline while the acv is acidic. Mixing them together balances the pH. After using this mask, I recommend washing your face and then use a toner, or other solution, to bring your skin pH back to normal, which is slightly acidic (around 5.5). Regarding the acv, similar to chemical peels, your skin has to get used to the amount / type of acid you are applying. Depending on concentration and sensitivity, they are irritants, but can be beneficial depending on use. When activated, this clay can pull impurities and moisture (oil and ion solution) from the skin which can be good or bad, depends on skin type.
@PutturyLucian8 жыл бұрын
thank you guys...ms accountant dont laugh at my pain. ill try to was it again after the mask, i really dont want to do it with just water because i don't think it will be effective like acv, but if im continuing to be too sensitive after the fact, then it seems thats what ill have to do. thanks again guys
@shanellpittman77428 жыл бұрын
The reason I said to use water is because acv can be harsh on some people skin
