I’m coming back to your music right now. I’m 43 now with a 14 year old son… Been listening to mixes me and my homeboy made for the open radio back in 2009… I couldn’t wrap my head around „new“ music for a while now… As I’m listening to the LA beat stuff from then, … the boom bap inspired stuff… but still very different… where did it go? It’s all been absorbed into the hype about bringing back the 90s boombap and all the innovations seem to have been overseen… I don’t know shyt… It just feels weird, looking back
