It's a show stopper on UK roads, for all the right or wrong reasons you can think of, but that's what Yianni loves, plus it actually drives well regardless of how you feel about it or the man who envisioned it. Licence requirement is based on GROSS WEIGHT, not KERB WEIGHT. Cybertruck exceeds 3.5 T. If you passed your test after 97 you need a C1 LGV locence.

The 3.5 ton rule is to do with the maximum weight the vehicle is allowed to be. So if the Maximum Authorised Mass of a vehicle is more than 3.5t you will need a Cat C1 which will allow you to drive up to 7.5t.

I dont know the exact rules in the UK, but here you could get it registered as a vehicle that allows up to 3.5t . If it weighs around 3.1t itself you are then allowed to load it up to 3.5, (so around 400kg) but that would mean a few heavy people or heavy load and it wouldnt be allowed on a normal license anymore.

For a wrap, something perhaps a challenge to pull off yet something that suits the lines (literally) of the truck. Also before anyone else tries it as someone is bound to attempt it. A design based on the Piet Mondrian style of paintings. Using the same bright colours I believe wouldn’t suit. But deep metallics, coloured deep metallics or even a mono chrome version.

I'm confident it's Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) is over 3500kg so it will need a C1 to drive, but irrelevant of that i'd be interested to see the IVA process that it will have to go through to be registered in the UK. I suspect this will have to go through the HGV IVA due to the GVW over 3500kg, which could be a whole other level of pain. Kudos to Yianni if he manages to get it through! At the end of the day Yianni knows what he's doing.. this is all about content. Will he be crying himself to sleep if for some reason it can't get through an IVA and he has to sell it ? .. i Doubt it !

The reason why its charging so slow is because the UK (rest of the world) uses 3 phase and 32amps for each phase. The US cars can only do single phase up to 48amps so it will only charge fast in the US

Charge shows 32/32a = 7kw charging and at 215v is very low for UK power supply - get a sparky to check out why - possible cable length / cable thickness - or your power provider needs to make a change on their infrastructure to get you back towards 240v.

Foreign cars can be hear for 6 months & have to be registered or leave the country a neighbour is a copper & they took quite a few death traps of the road that had come from Poland Hungary etc. He said they would recognise a car & see it for months on end then find out it had been here well over 6 months. Yanni if he can't register surely he can get round by taking out of the country for 3 months+ . If ge can or can't he won't have a problem selling it. I approve in a strange way.
