Siamese Dream is my favorite Smashing Pumpkins album. Great all the way through. Far and away better than all their other albums - including Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, which is more popular. Still that was a really good album)

Love me some Pumpkins! Looking forward to exploring other tracks here too. Consider listening with headphones. Billy Corgan thinks he's Brian Wison or Phil Spector in the studio. The guitars def have that Wall of Sound, Then Billy's voice and Jimmy's percussion are like sonic booms or cracks in the wall. It's very 90s, but I love the 90s!

Hey there! I do indeed listen to all tracks in headphones after doing the reactions, but I'm not set up to shoot videos that way. Still, I definitely appreciate the importance of immersive listening. And cheers, I'm going to finish the two Pumpkins albums I already own (I'm up to the last track in my reactions for Siamese Dream), and then I'm going to get a couple others people have recommended to continue the deep-dive. I’ve noticed that you’re into more synth based music as well. With that in mind, did you ever listen to Corgan’s first solo album, The Future Embrace? While I’m not in love with the entire album, I absolutely love some of the tracks. I would highly recommend a listen, and particularly Mina Loy, DIA, Walking Shade and The Camera Eye. Also, the track Hidden Sun from SPs «synth album» CYR, really remind me of a-ha.

Never heard this before, I only have their greatest hits . I thought this was 'Siva' when I first read it. Now, is it me or does this feel similar in vibe, build up and acoustically to "The Chauffeur" by Duran Duran ? And I know Billy Corgan is a huge DD fan , having played The Chauffeur and Night Boat on tour (with and without Simon Le Bon on guest vocals). It just feels in the same sonic territory
