I started liking the character with the other story where she’s living with an old man who’s a survivor of the island, she was way more independent and used a rifle if i’m not mistaken, without the good ending it wouldn’t have been posible for her to save Natalia which lends to the final boss fight in the mines. Love the pathos in this. Alex's decrepitude aligning with her love of a real author, her struggle to retain her sense of identity, and realistic traumas like Moira's incident that would trigger indecisive fear. I just think they melded the story threads a little too miraculously. There should have been a tight explanation for Moira's survival, and Claire should have been realistically pin-balled back into friendly territory. Finally, Claire should have been shown briefing Barry and been revisited finishing physical therapy, instead of the somewhat "action adventure" element of a "Get to da choppa!" rescue.

Well, Moira overcame her fear, the virus (being a severely watered down version of T) blended with her and made her strong enough to survive the fall and destruction of the tower (keep in mind those who are compatible with T turn into Tyrants, so it wouldn't be too out of place to think a weaker strain could slightly enhance a compatible host)

@@jd7507 kind of always went with my health science notes for the little girl where small amounts of people are naturally immune to viruses without ever being subjected to the viruses before hand (like with Jill and why Wesker put that weird device on her chest) makes way more sense than a virus that leaches onto the adrenaline that someone pumps out and causes a mutation besides Alex W. even targets the little girl for more than her will to face fear idk it just seems more logical for me

I'm only 10 minutes in and it seems to be an honest to goodness attempt at a survival horror. They respect and build upon the lore of Resident Evil bringing in a new athmosphere. Awesome. Y’all wanna know kind of a sad fact about Natalia it’s that every time you switch to her in her perspective she always sees the uroboros virus in her eyes since she’s a special case that’s why she can see the afflicted and the rotten through the walls when their nearby cause the fact is Alex weaker wanted Natalia cause she was the perfect subject for her next life that’s why in the bad ending Natalia turns into Alex right then and there, as for her powers Alex knew that the afflicted and the rotten would go after her when she eventually switched bodies with Natalia so that she would be safe but Natalia would die

I never did get around to playing this game but it looks fantastic. I may have to give it a shot. I always thought that RE4 and RE5 would have benefitted with more fluid controls especially when using the knife like in this title. But they were both great games in their own right and in their own time. I also can't express enough how great these no commentary game play videos are. Thank you.

12:29 this line right here kind of pissed me off with Claire in this game. the whole reason Steve said this was because he knew his father and mother died because of weapons. for Claire to say the same thing feels like she is basically saying, "I survived Rockfort Island because of my limited arsenal of weapons.. not because the two closest men in my life were there for me". there is a lot in this game that I feel took several steps backwards in Claire's character development.
