Dude the voice acting in this is top-notch. They say things that anyone in that situation would say in a wholesome way and the way they say things, you can tell it's not easy what they're enduring. Love that phone convo between Caz and Roy around 2:14:50 . 👍👍

Literally watched this in one go like it was a movie and it was in very large part due to the voice acting. Even the wailing and unsettling monster noises. The whole game was really well done.

Wow, that was a good game! Kept me on the edge the whole time. Very engaging. Loved it. Thanks for playing this and showcasing it. Caz is a damn good man. That crew were heroes in their own right.

This was my 5th attempt at watching this game's walkthrough on KZbin, after finishing the game 2 weeks ago. It is the first (and probably the only one) that it is done properly, without twitching the camera all over the place, but a bit more smoothly. I get that it is a horror game and that there can be some more desperate situations where you need to think and move fast, but a good walkthrough is way better if you take into account that it is more inclined to make it, so that you can actually see as much as possible of the masterpiece that the game creators have done. So thank you for that!

I always questioned how the main character (Caz) even think about shouting "Hello is someone here?!" when entering a new area. Like, what would happen if there's actually a monster that's hiding in that place?

You can see by the shadow on the door, as he's leaving his room, at the very beginning of the game, that Caz is most likely wearing headgear. So, every time you read an instruction with a picture of a person on it, wearing headgear, with a beard, that is most likely a picture showing you what Caz looks like.

As a North German who loves the Scottish folks: Epic Voiceacting. I loved the Game, played it on Steam/PC. I dont want to spoil but the end with the Lovecraftian Color out of Space shit, was awesome.

When Bruce calls, and Caz asks where they are, Number 6 is pushed, so, they were obviously in a Pontoon, by the chart on the wall, although there is more than one Pontoon across the station, which is why he needed clarification as to which they were in.

damn, the ending fucked me up. I was on the edge of my seat this entire gameplay, what a game. reminds me so much of another gameplay of yours that I watched- Soma! ending destroyed me on that one too.

They keep making video game adaptations to film that bomb. They have a game here where they have the whole blueprint written up right in front of them, storyline, dialogue, appearance of characters, background settings, and whatnot. If they could remake the game for film, keeping it as close as possible, shot for shot, in most cases, with as little artistic license as possible... obviously some creative tweaks here and there, transitioning between game and film, but, other than that, leave it pretty much as is... and they could likely have a hit on their hands, in addition to upping sales on the game, itself, for people to see if they could get through it. Would recommend CGI for the main monster, and a combination CGI and practical for the infected, and for the close-ups of the monster in the rig... If they could get the practical effects people who made Carpenter's original "The Thing", I can't see how they could mess it up.

McLeary? Or may be MacReady? This game looks to me like a new installment of John Carpenter's "The thing". Monsters, isolated place in deadly environment, sense of dread and hopelessness. It also reminds me the game "Cold fear". There was also a level located on an oil rig.

Same, I can't understand why this was lauded as a absolute masterpiece. It has some nice imagery as you said, but the rest is...lacking. Real lacking.
