Players like Gomes would work as long as Bruno is rotated. We play 60 games with the same number 10 every season which is massively restricting other options there plus Bruno needs a rest to get the best out of him.

Gomes is a central midfielder, not an attacking one. Last 2 seasons he has been playing deep, ensuring control of the match, rather than be creative outlet. He would not be subbing Bruno, but rather do similar role to Kobbie

Without being rude he isn't very tall. We already have kobie, Ericksen, Bruno who aren't the biggest. Need some presence in size for that position. We clearly didn't see that potential when he was with us too let him go for free. We question signings that haven't worked out in their other clubs. We need to to question why he wasn't good enough first time round.

@@Wild1920 agreed they both weren't good enough at Manchester United. But with angel he's a number 6. Played 6 with rice for England. Most of the game he was deeper than rice. We have ugarte and casemiro for number 6's. So again rightly or wrongly he won't be ahead of them. If you take him for free as an 8 he won't get the game time in that position again and kobbie, Fernandes and a FIT mount would start.

This club has been failing over the years because of multiple reasons, but one of the big reasons is because the managers we’ve had were clueless when it comes to rotation and subs. Players are over played and also picked based on hype, salaries, transfer fees, reputation and social media popularity. It’s never been based on old school fitness and performance levels. In short all our recent managers have lacked balls and in essence lacked the basic skills required to be managers and leaders. Bruno amongst others should never have been used as much as he has been and others who have been used regularly should never have been used regularly, Mctominay, Fellaini, Fred etc.
