Even if he can't read, there are ways of compensating, and some children have been able to overcome the disability by themselves. Gen. Patton couldn't read until he was nearly a teenager. But these days there are also books on tape. He has opportunities to interview people. George W. Bush would read the briefing report and start asking questions. trump could have gotten information that way. There are ways of keeping informed despite having a learning disability, and trump never took advantage of those opportunities. And I wonder if that conceals a contempt for education while at the same time being jealous of those who could get into top colleges, and who found reading easy.

I remember an episode of the Simpson, which focused on the two Donald Trumps where he tells the truth, and in it he claimed to have had Asian students take his test, and not pay them. I believe. He may have gone to elite universities, like Fordham and Wharton School of Business, but it does not mean he did all his own homework. And I am sure it didn't hurt if his family gave generous donations to those schools. And I also found out that Bill Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar but he never finished his program or graduated from Oxford. So these elites really sail through school. The average person who attends these schools have to work their butt off to get a A in a course.

I am a neuroscientist and have seen NO evidence of a learning disability. I see a man who was a lazy undisciplined child. He disrupted public school classes with his rotten behavior and was put into a military academy, where he was so embarrassed of his grades that he refused to show them or allow them to be revealed. Trump is lacking in all that so his reading is only a small part of it. Trump believes he has all the answers so he has no need to inform himself of anything. That alone is his biggest weakness.
