Certainly you don't think those were installed by Six Flags Over Texas...they are part of the ride's engineering and design... The box track provides added strength, minimizing the need for additional supports. If you notice, the supports "toothpick" down to a ball-and-joint connection at the footer. Though the ride is designed to sway, guy-wires were incorporated into the design to help stabilize the track segments themselves (which is why it doesn't sway any more than you see).

Was thankful to be able to ride it Saturday and Sunday . Was sad I couldn't get back to the thing for the opening riders thing on time. By the time I got back there for the 12:00 to 1 event, by 12:12 everything was being packed up😢.

Is it just me or does it seem like the mid-course brakes on Shockwave were turned off? That train was flying through the second half! Shockwave has a special place in my heart as it was the coaster that I conquered my fear of going upside down. I also got to experience graying out too that day! 😁

Guys don’t bother paying $20 for the Scream Break event. It’s pretty underwhelming and not worth it. Pretty much it’s just one haunted house. I didn’t find it scary. You can do everything it has to offer in about 10 minutes
