Wrong Rick, he just opened up an appeal that could set Chad & Lori free. That stupid fool should have dismissed the incorrect indictment, to save the rest of the charges,,BUT no that idiot just gave Chad an automatic appeal, that "will" be upheld by the supreme court. Shows that the judge is corrupt as the prosecutors.

Katelyn Armstrong was released from jail because her birth date was wrong. Same day of her arrest. Then she left to Costa Rica. Dates matter, but for Chad not much.

Judge Boyce is a very wise man. I appreciate very much the time he took to examine and consider the prosecution's arguments, as well doing his own research. It would have been a travesty of justice to let that charge be dropped.

My heart sank at first. The Prosecution did very well quickly finding legal solutions. Not just one but several legal solutions. This means in the future if Daybell tries to appeal based on the issue they have multiple other options to shut him down!

If I was a juror, the date of the murders make no difference to me. The only thing that matters is that 3 innocent people lost their lives by cold blooded, cold hearted murder, all instructed by Chad Guy Daybell.

@@gsmith6026 Prior didn't know. He was playing it off like he was suave and knew but didn't say anything till the judge brought it up. Fact of the matter is that that count for JJ could have been stricken from his charges if the judge had in fact decided that way, so it could have been taken off the table completely, and the jurors wouldn't have been able to even render a verdict on that matter. Thank God Boyce didn't rule that way.

My question, if the court knew the dates of JJ and Tylee were transposed, why didn’t he mention it in a side bar or before the prosecution closed? It was a ‘typo’ but could it cause a mistrial. In any case glad the error was caught.

I hope that the prosecution asks each Daybell child if they have listened to the testimonies in this case, because they are allowed to. I think they should also ask if they watched the Lori Vallow Daybell case. If they have the truth of all the evidence, I don't think they would testify for the defense. They would know what an insane monster their father is, and that he is the mastermind.

Don't be scared to speak up and say when things are wrong. A lot of these witnesses should've reported Chad and Lori way before it ever got to this point. At least Tylee and JJ could've gone into foster care. Don't be scared to speak up. You can save lives. It's scary, you'll get bullied, but it is the right thing to do.

They can’t because they are on Prior’s witness list. They can attend after they testify. They have claimed their father didn’t commit the crime so they can’t be considered “victims”, Who are sometimes allowed to attend.

The fact that Pryor is trying to say that he based his defense on filing his motion when he never brought up the clerical error prior to any of this it took judge boys to bring up the clerical I don't think Pryor has a leg to stand on I believe if Prior would have notices and brought it up as soon as the state rested and said this instead of judge Boyce he would have a better chance of getting this acquittal on the charge. Empire can't say that because he is preparing to defend this case without bringing this clerical error up so he did not base his defense on this clerical error. And the fact that the state had not only botched the death penalty up on Lori but is now doing the same thing and Chad's case is an absolute disgusting fact that they were not having somebody proofread over proofread and making sure to double-check dates when it was the date that got Lori vios death penalty drop

Plays ok here. When I was in tech support our mantra was "when in doubt, reboot" YT video player volume control could be muted or turned down low, your main speakers could be muted, speaker drivers could need updating, I would always get crackling noises after my computer was up for longer than 3 or 4 days. Had to go into speaker properties and readjust output to a lower bitrate. After that no more crackling. Go figure !!
