Ang apoy ay hindi nagmumula sa ulan, daan-daang mga tirahan ang hindi nasusunog... kung sa araw, kung saan ang mga kapitbahay, ang mga tirahan na ito ay nasa ibabaw ng tubig, hindi ba posible na matigil ang apoy sa pamamagitan ng karaniwang pagsisikap!?

@@qilin-v8u I'm not sure what started the fire, but people don't take electricity lightly; if you can't replace loose outlets, at least don't use them; if you hear crackling noises from breakers or appliances, until you can take care of it, don't use it; unplug it and isolate it as much as your understanding allows; some houses burn just from bad condition little outlets left unintentionally with plugged lamps chargers, etcetera; you have to be aware of these things.

It's the sad fact my family experienced it 1967, a neighbor left a candle burning and inadvertently burned their curtain, we the next house to them were not even warned she just panicked and ran out of the house, it's only the people across the Estero that screamed to let us know what's going on.

These people had little or nothing to begin with other than their shanty and what was in it and now they have even less. This is terrible but everybody seems to be getting along and helping each other, not stealing from each other.
