Arsenal is now reaping the reward of not getting the striker it truly needed. The other genuinely shocking thing this game showed was that Arsenal had zero counter-attacking tactics at all. They are almost a truly dangerous side, but not quite there.

City fan here. We have the same problem. And fan with eyes could see that Rodri needed a backup and that we needed a WC winger, but the arrogance of Pep and the board prevented that. Now we’re paying the price.

Biggest issue in my mind is we never have overlapping fullbacks on either side. Martinelli and saka both want to cut inside but it's impossible for them to do that when there's a midfielder already there and our fullbacks are inside of the wingers. We need more balance where they overlap at times and play inside at times. We do the same thing every single time we get the ball. Too easy to defend

They are probably the favorites but wouldn't be surprised if they dropped off. The race is still open for arsenal, only concern is our attack looks pretty underwhelming other than saka.

Liverpool fan here in peace, for me you guys are the side I fear this season and I think A) It would be ridiculous for you guys to say it’s over and your out and B) to sack Arteta, that man has turned your club around and unless it’s Pep or Klopp I genuinely don’t see an upgrade (way too soon to say Slot is better). I said to my brother in law who’s an Arsenal fan today that if you guys had a striker I think you’d be top, I’d also say you need a left winger, Martinelli has stagnated the last 2 seasons.

Odagaard didn't have a great game. Arsenal is a different animal when he shows up. When he was injured, your results suffered a lot; the same happens when he doesn't turn up. You have a great side but seem more confident when he plays well. I'm sure your results will improve and we expect a good title fight. From a Liverpool fan.
