Growing up, Thanksgiving was Always @ Grandmom’s and Pop Pop’s. But my parents always had a complete Thanksgiving dinner at home to heat up for Friday. In fact, our turkey would come out the oven on Thanksgiving and Christmas morning and it was some turkey, a little stuffing( or filling as we called it) and scrambled eggs for breakfast. It was a family tradition. Never brought food home, not even dessert (we had that at home too.)Mom was the only one that helped Grandmom with the cooking too.

Hello Patty and Toya good show today. But I have to say I feel fortunate where I come from because we have so much food at our dinners (family always brings too much food) we come expecting to take food home. I know when my Mother was living and hosting the family dinners she would push food on you to take home. If there was still to much left she was calling you the next day to come and take it. We learned from the best because really no one wants to cook before going out to dinner. You see, if everyone is contributing then it's everyone's food to take. I guess we're just different like that 🤗😁 just to clarify: no one wants to prepare a whole meal before going out to dinner. So if everyone brings a large enough dish of food there'll be plenty of leftovers to take home🤷
