check if your sound settings are in mono or stereo or whatever

@saintskillerdntfkwth it's In surround sound, and it sounds amazing, but the footsteps seem light. In alot of games if you can turn up a certain frequency, it will make footsteps louder.

Probably but you'll have a different problem with Battlefield 2042 because it now has so many audio sounds and effects added to it across multiple aspects of the game that the audio queue gets slammed and drops things important to the player like footsteps or player movement for things the devs or the game has set to a high priority like vehicle noises. You'd also run into a different problem because the frequency you'd have to raise would be different through a lot of maps because of the surfaces or surfaces player run on being different. Mud to grass, pavement, metal, etc. the footsteps aren't the exact same across them all so the frequency would likely be different. Especially with the case of indoor footsteps.

I cant tell you the hz cause IDK tuning myself but I do know if you keep researching how to EQ audio you'll learn what it is because I had plenty of headphones that made footsteps clearer over the majority of audio and others that were worse. And I kept the ones that enhance footsteps while not sounding bad for day to day use still.

Lol I don't play this game anymore but love to see players still acting the same on every server. In our community we call them '小聋瞎' which literally means someone deaf and blind. Funny thing is the word reads the same as crayfish in Chinese.
