I went to my LCS last week and got my pull and some other books. The guy rang me up and asked if I wanted a receipt emailed or printed. I said email and then left. I got half way back to work and start thinking that I didn't remember to swipe my card. So I called, and they thought it was all good, but then they checked the credit card receipts and it was missing. So I went back and took care of that becasue it was the right thing to do. And I continue a great relationship with the store.

Here's one for you.. long story short I overpaid a vendor at a con by $100. Didn't realize it until the drive home. I had paid the guy with PayPal and that was my only contact to him. I sent him a request for $100 with a note reminding him of the sale. Dude sent me the $100. Comic people are good people

I think it has a lot to do with you and what kind of dude you are. Myself and another guy had won your giveaway (utube and comment) you accidentally mixed up the books with the other guy. Unfortunately he got the much better book, so I reached out to you. You apologized and contacted the other dude and asked if he would return it and you would send it back out. He refused . You contacted me and tried to make it up to me. I refused because it was a giveaway. I so appreciated what you did and definitely did not have to do anything. I am just the opposite thinking from that one poster that said; "people were lying about returning the incorrect books". I would *Hope that Everyone would Return the book!* I can't imagine the scumbags that would out right steal from you. Those are the type of people that get change for 100 from a young person working for minimum wage, and don't tell the kid that they only gave them a 10. So while that kid loses their job, the person with some extra money would be telling his friends and laughing that some dumb kid gave him too much change. Sadly, those people (like the guy in Germany) do exist.

Not everyone is a POS, but some are, so you gotta be careful. Earlier this week, I opened a return on eBay and the seller refunded me before I could print the return shipping label. I reached out to customer service and got a label, then contacted the seller and told him not to do that in the future since people that would take advantage are out there.

I did the right thing once in a situation like this...inquired about buying a speaker cab from a guitar amp builder. they sent me a quote for around 1200, then like a week later the cab just showed up at my door, i had never paid. they didn't realize the mistake, and i could have just kept it for free. but this was a small business 1 man and his girlfriend operation we're talking about, not some big major corporation, so i would have felt bad stiffing them. so i reached out and said hey, i'd like to pay you for this lol, and get this...they then wanted to raise the price and have me pay more than what they had quoted my LOL. I said nope, I'll pay what you originally quoted me and then you can go F yourself
