Platinum Egoiste is my favorite Chanel. Allure Homme Edition Blanche is the best freshie. BDC is weak and doesn't last although I love the DNA.

Bought Antaeus last year. Fell in love with it. Dark, resinous, leathery, earthy...you just feel like a boss when you wear it. Egoiste does the same for me.

I actually sprayed some Egoiste on at Duty Free on a trip this week. It immediately took me back to buying a bottle (and wearing the hell out of it) on a college trip to Paris right when it was released. I didn’t buy it, but I think I might have to. It has that elusive additive quality that keeps me coming back for more. Great list!

I've only been in the fragrance hobby for a year, but Chanel has quickly become one of my personal favorite houses. I've been collecting the usual suspects, and I've been happy with them all. But I've been curious, what's your take on Allure Homme EDT? It intrigues me, but the peach accord has me concerned that it could lean feminine.

I like the Egoiste dry down, but early on it has that cigarette ash tray smell/accord/vibe which I don't like. I love tobacco, but once it's burnt, It completely transitions to something I don' t like. This isn't listed out in the notes....not sure why I get that. Great list otherwise!!

I do not think Chanel fragrances are suited to my skin type. Perhaps the older ones might be better but Allure Homme Sport etc. have the fragrance of vinegar on me. Not a fragrance I want to wear.

Try spraying it on your clothes instead, it will last longer and you won't have to worry about odd chemical reactions.
