I’m not sure why anyone aimed for positions of high power and influence in the Royal Courts back in days of yore. Your chances of ending up being executed were extremely high!

Develop a historical perspective, sometimes power plays work, a good example is Arthur Tudor and sometimes they fail such as Edward Seymour.
