Fascinating history video, Jon! Thomas Seymour may have been hungry for power over anything else considering the way he moved in the Tudor Court. Great content 👍🏻💯

Who does the Art work/animation and representations for these videos? They’re unbelievable! It’s like their portraits/characters are brought to life and more! Well done! ❤

I’m not sure why anyone aimed for positions of high power and influence in the Royal Courts back in days of yore. Your chances of ending up being executed were extremely high!

Develop a historical perspective, sometimes power plays work, a good example is Arthur Tudor and sometimes they fail such as Edward Seymour.

That’s a great point! The pursuit of power in the Royal Courts was certainly a high-stakes game. The allure of influence and wealth often outweighed the risks, even though the consequences could be dire.

Just watched Firebrand…Jude Laws portrayal of H8 was the creepiest imo….

Jude Law really brought a chilling edge to his portrayal of Henry VIII in Firebrand. His performance added a whole new level of creepiness to the character, making it one of the most memorable interpretations.
