Ormonde seems to have discernment. If he likes you, he likes you but if he does not he will "help" you move away. He is one of my favorite horses. I am pretty hard core, I would not want anyone touching the horse I was on.

I'm from the United States my great-grandmother her neighbors were equestrian riders they owned a ranch and four horses I used to go there on the weekend and ride all the time it was the most fantastic time I was just a little girl❤ they taught me how to respect horses when I was only like 5 years old😂

I Disagree, I don't think they are disrespectful, they simply do not know horses like Ormand. My father raised American Quarter horses and some bloodlines seem to carry meanness as a trait. We had one horse and had to be very careful around his head.....he was capable of sudden biting attacks. I carried a jockey's bat in my back pocket for him. When he tried to be mean he got swatted! My Dad put a big tack in his rolled-up shirtsleeve and the horse tried to bite him and got 'bitten on the nose' by the hidden thumbtack! it happened several times as we all started wearing tacks in our shirtsleeves! The horse decided it wasn't a wise thing to do and stopped. I would imagine a sharp big tack poke in the horse's tender nose was remembered!

I have to remind myself how that many are in awe and some just have to touch the horses because they are magnificent, magical beings, so I've known having been in love and with horses most my life. My rescue mare lived to 28 yrs and everyday I was thrilled to be with her (even in the pouring muddy days). As we all see, some horses like some people, some horses are fed-up with lots of tourists bothering them, but still people just want to touch - if polite, cool, if not, bite them!!
