My daughter ejected me from her life 13 yrs ago. The reality of her decision is still unbelievable to me. But the last words she yelled to me was that I would never see my (7 yr old ) granddaughter again. I believe from things she had already done and said, that she did not want her child to have a loving relationship with anyone else. I love my child, but more with a Divine Love. I pray for her conversion and for my granddaughter’s conversion. I somehow want to tell her about Carlos and other young people who received massive graces and used them for all people. @@marymulligan6618 I hate hearing the kind of pain you must be enduring. I have heard there are many parents who are experiencing this. My daughter ejected me from her life many years ago. I used to pray that she would allow me to visit my grandchild. I now pray for her conversion to return to the Church. I pray my granddaughter knows something about God and will also experience a conversion. I now realize that they can be given graces they need to move forward in conversion, but due to free will, may choose not to do so. God knows I just want to beat my head against a wall, and knows I do have some difficulty trusting Him. Yet, I also know to be tenacious in prayer. Even though my situation is more similar than you know, I still cannot imagine three children who are choosing to believe their father. Because I have thought if my child had a sibling, she may not completely cut me out of her life. But to think that her siblings would do the same is heartbreaking. I have learned I can live with this pain and still have joy and happiness. I am thankful for all the help I get by reading and listening to good Catholic clerics and laity. I need this help everyday. I love learning about Carlos. Have gotten Catholic material that I hope they both want to keep and maybe will help. But anything I do may not be what God will do. If Jesus in His agony could say “Thy Will be done, not My Will” and He is God’s Son! This is way too long, when all I wanted to say is I know some of what you feel; but you have three children. I hope Carlos is able to get God’s attention to tell Him about you. I hope you do not despair - very easy for me, but continue to pray no matter what is happening. I think “Lord if this helps my soul, please let it help enough to keep me out of purgatory.” But that’s probably not good to think and tell Him. May Our Holy Lady of Grace grant you all you need for a holy, happy heart and soul, that is burdened by your pain.

@@iociccio936 the absence of sin doesn't determine sainthood, miracles/apparitions do. The church is not teaching people that we are ALL called to be saints, whether we sinned or not. It's in the gospel!

@@iociccio936 in fact, many saints were sinners in their earlier life, for instance saint Francisco of assisis was promiscuous before becoming a saint. That's kinda why I'm so upset about the church authorities invading Carlo Acutis privacy.
