The Scrapyard was created in 2020 by "Firechicken", a former Amateur MMA fighter, Wrestling coach, and Boxer. The main branch of STREETBEEFS was created in 2008 by Chris Wilmore aka Scarface. Streetbeefs as a concept was created in order to stop street violence with it's "Guns down, Gloves up" movement. The Scrapyard holds monthly fights in our Pacific northwest location. Seems like turning your back while covering up and crouching is a pretty clear sign that it’s time to stop a fight. Is the plan to just wait until someone is officially knocked out before stopping the fight? Or do they stop fights if someone is no longer defending themselves and turns away? I’m honestly curious cuz this would have been stopped earlier in any other amateur mma fight. I know it’s promoted a certain way, but they seem to have strict rules and stuff. Would hate for a fighter to expect safe officiating and then be left hanging cuz they want a viral video. It’s another thing if the fighters know they have to do more than what this kid did to get a fight stopped.

Since when were 12 to 6 elbows legal to the back near the spine, I just checked again on the streetbeefs website the rules are still the same about 12 to 6 elbows and yet I’ve been seeing them more recently and the refs stand idle by like bots in a simulation. Why is this?

I think the general rule should be anyone wearing a shirt or anything like that will be told that it can be used against them, if it's kickboxing you can't use it to choke or throw, but you can use it to clinch up depending on the rules (be it K1 or Muay Thai), otherwise the fighter can fight without a shirt... it's at times instinctive to grab a shirt and can happen by accident (not saying that's always the case, but sometimes).

Do you still get an A on a school project just because you kept showing up? Nah. Gotta do your research. Same with Combat. You study, you prepare, you analyze, you adapt, you conquer. You dont send troops out to war without uniforms, training, or gear, otherwise youre just putting people in high stress environments with no survival odds.
