The other cool thing right outside of Trujillo is the gorgeous Huanchaco with its awesome reed boats! So many amazing places to visit in Peru. There's no way to visit them all!

It sounds like you are getting altitude sickness! Be careful going up too high too quickly!

Yeah, that altitude! Even going to Denver then Rocky Mountain National Park kicked my butt. Gradual acclimation is really important
