How did you ID the fish? The picture doesn't seem clear enough. They could be surf perch.

When you spend enough time watching fish you kinda just know. I can tell you with 100% certainty these are Corbina potentially with Spotfin mixed in. Way to big to be Surfperch

@@pnguyen3246 some of em. But waters still warm rn. You ca always catch them. They’re just more plentiful in the shallows in the summertime.
