Cambodia’s safety index is 68 while Thailand, Vietnam, Laos are lower which means Cambodia is safer than theses countries. But International see Cambodia is the super dangerous country in SE Asia. Maybe because of the bad news and the recent past. No matter what I don’t bother too much I love Cambodia❤ I’m going to die in the land of wonder.

I tell you, Thais hate us ... we are historical enemies ... Thais have never had good intentions with Cambodians ... so Thais always say bad things about us in closing Tourists misunderstand us ... We do not cause trouble with the neighbors, only the neighbors always come to us ... We are a country that always lives quietly, do not want to cause trouble ... So who is good, you are bad ... In the future, the world will know for itself ... that pure gold is not afraid of fire ... and any evil country will prove itself by research reveals the truth From tourists who want to find out and know the answer to the source of the story

I really like your videos more and more that you can bring this content idea to open speak for international especially when they like to share their experience and life during stay in Cambodia. Abit sad that most foreigners knew about Cambodia is from the bad and sadness from Khmer Rouge etc.. I hope one day Cambodia will more open to international for people think in positive at first, just hope. Cambodia is a bit different and education have to walk the same time as experience and especially most people have to effort themselves to study. Most job when they apply for jobs most places will ask about experience first so if you finished your education without experience that would be hard to get the job or even the good one.

*The US government has named Cambodia as one of the worst countries for human trafficking. According to the United Nations, human trafficking known as a human rights offense often linked to "modern slavery" has 2 forms: forced labor and sex trafficking. The US government described the Cambodian government’s human trafficking law enforcement efforts as “official complicity,” even though an online trafficking victim training course was made available to government officials in 2023. The report says “authorities did not investigate or hold criminally accountable any officials involved in widespread, credible reports of complicity.” Shamefully, Cambodia has been ranked the most corrupt country in Southeast Asia.*

Not at all surprising - to me - as I found the same results somewhat - just from videos in the US !!! Similarly friendly people in both countries - seen like that in the US also - just from videos - and easily picked up on. Siem Reap offers much cheaper rents - for old retired expats like myself - allowing for comfortable $800 / mo. living ! Perhaps easier than the Philippines and with better food options. 🤔 ❤👍🙏✌

This isn't at all shocking, and not so much about Cambodia, as about this nice lady being unnecessarily nervous when she arrived and working a lot/learning to be more independent and relax a bit. . They talk a lot about Christmas not being a thing. I came here in December the first time and I never saw so many Christmas decorations in my life as in Siem Reap! Crazy snowmen and lit up trees. But yes, can't really expect Buddhists to celebrate Christmas like Christians! I've been volunteering here over the last 2 years- in a small town, far from Phnom Penh. I agree with her that the people are so friendly, welcoming, helpful, unpretentious, honest, hardworking, respectful. Yes, proud of their culture and incredibly resilient in the face of the disastrous setbacks of the 70's-90s, and the slow recovery of infrastructure, education etc. I love the music, their love of laughing, food. SO glad to be here. Re safety- the most dangerous thing where I live is the awful state of the roads, as I ride a motor bike here. Hopefully they'll finish the endless roadworks eventually..

To be honest, This is just my thought about working. Most of the students who are still study in the university would want to work and study as possible as they could because some of them are from the province who come to the city to study and not all of them have enough money to pay for the school fee and living expenses such room rental fee water electric els.....and some of the kids from the city themselves most of them don't work while still attending university because they have their parent or people support their universiity fee and more then this they don't have to pay for their living expenses because they already got house to stay in the city. One more thing, in Cambodia as I know If you have working experiences, the employer seem to valued you more then you have your university graduate on your resume. Just like my friend she literally spend 4 years to focus in her study but at the end she complained that it was hard to find a job for non experience like her and te salary would not high as she used to expected. Due to some of that reason that why Cambodian students would spend their time beside university to work even though they knew they could get so much stress becuase of working while studying.

Talking about school or health care systems in Cambodia. For the past 40 years this government never builds a single school. The schools that are built in Cambodia mostly primary schools by foreigners like Japan and Cambodian people living abroad. Most colleges are private owned by either foreigners or rich Cambodian people. For hospital care, the government does not build any government hospital. Only private hospitals are new. Compare to Taiwan or Singapore, their leaders are smart and bring their country to a developed country.

Working besides studying is very common in most countries in Europe. I am from Norway a rich country in Europe and most students here work besides their studies. I guess the main reason is because we want to be undependent of our parents and manage our own lives. Asian people are mom's and dad's little toddlers to long. It's crazy seen with our eyes. Ankor wat Facing to the west, because our ancestors built this monument for the future even, when the second sun comes ,the west will become to be the east , and a very even will happen in Cambodia. You know a richest country in the last day ,that your Bible says An island in the east and the island in the west, where ? It's Cambodia , not Philippines. Our ancestors still alive, they are preparing for a time comes, they do meditation and live in a deep inside of mountains. Sorry i forgot how English called it. (Kanal) We are Khmer but the word khmer was written in complex style ,was read as khem mac rac not khmer. When Thai occupied Cambodia they read this word as khmen(r) not in the complex style, in normal style, so the word khmer was born , so we have to names khmer and Khem mac rac. Khmer had the killing field because of Vietnamese they pretending to be khmer, impostor like Pol Pot , even Hun Sen , too. Now Hun Sen is pushing khmer to very danger of nuclear by giving land to China, our ancestors, too predicted that...
