Stunning! This presents as a powerful example of psychopathic delusion and a worst-case-scenario of dissociative splitting by a sexual predator. Bickle is a very sick and dangerous man. Those ladies were being led astray by false prophets. People they were deceived into thinking they were trustworthy and Godly. People who everybody believed and followed and?adored. So they put their misgivings aside. After all everybody trusted and followed. How could everybody be wrong. And the would be rejected if they didnt go with it. But they would have status, acceptance, and rewards if they did. Plus the religious leaders were Godly. God talked to them regularly didn't He? and used them. God took them to heaven. They had signs and wonders. You cant touch God's anointed. These false prophets will face God and be judged.

IHOP is famous for it's 24 hr. prayer performance which according to scripture is not the only measure of a Godly ministry. The pastors and teachers are supposed to equip the believers, who in turn do the work of building the Body. That building is not done by the pastors it is the equipped believer. Eph. 4:12 makes that perfectly clear. A gathering of believers is not intended to be the one-man show it has become. According to 1Cor. 14:26 when we come together ALL OF US are to contribute to the gathering and it is US who are the ones who build the body in the unity of taith and the knowledge of the Son of God until WE ALL come to a level of maturity nothing short of Jesus Himself. This whole drama at IHOP is exposing not just some sordid sexual perversion, it is exposing the complete lack of Spirit-led 'leaders' in the whole organization. The letter to the church of Laodicea could be carbon copied and given to this bunch. IHOP is 'famous' for the prayer performance, but when was the last time they were preaching the gospel, casting out demons, healing the sick and raising the dead? Those with ears to hear, let them hear. This is what has pretended to be Christianity for far too long and it is time it all comes tumbling down. After 2000 years we have not reached the level of maturity the early church had, and we seem to be OK with that?? There is a word for those claiming to be Christian in this hour .......... REPENT.

Our problem is we don't believe that the devil is able to preach a good message do we? But the devil knows exactly what to say to deflect. The flock is very naive if they think anyone with a good public face, biblical message, and humble lifestyle can't be a devil in disguise. How much more when the person actually acts unbiblically, teaches unbiblically, and speaks in an ungodly rhetoric. To come in Jesus Name means coming under the authority of and in obedience to and representing King Jesus the Lord. It doesn't mean merrily spouting the words in jesus name. Jesus was not saying they were divine or God. To ask in Jesus Name does not mean to be simply spouting the words in jesus name. It means you believe in Jesus and believe who He is; God and Creator with no Beginning and no End see Revelation 1 and to Believe He died for our sins and rose again and that one must confess their sins to Jesus and receive forgiveness and be cleansed in His blood and born again; surrender their lives to Him and be walking in obedience to Him and love Him with all their heart and soul and mind and strength. Be bearing the fruit of the Spirit and loving their neighbour as their self. Now that is how to ask in His Name. It is not simply spouting the words in jesus name and they don't even believe in Jesus. They preach another jesus and a different gospel. They treat the things of God frivolous, casual and the blood of the covenant as unholy and do despite to the Spirit of grace. Notice they are not doing what Jesus did. Just mouthing a bunch of fluff.
