In fact, this is where some so called "Christians" who do not accept Jesus as God and non believers especially Moslems get it wrong. You always find them using that verse in the Bible where Jesus rebuked someone for calling him good teacher and then proceed to say Jesus never approved of anybody even calling him good teacher how much more we calling him God. This is quite laughable to say the least because those who make that argument clearly do not understand the nature and status of Jesus BEFORE His death and His nature and status AFTER He resurrected from death. In John 20:28 Thomas exclaimed, *My LORD and My GOD* when he realised that Jesus had truly risen after Jesus had showed his wounds to him. We all know as you rightly pointed out how Jesus in Mark 10:17-18 BEFORE his death and resurrection quickly corrected someone who even tried to refer to him as "good teacher". Jesus told the man who referred to him (Jesus) as good teacher that it is only GOD who is good. So the question you should be asking yourself is that, why didn't Jesus correct Thomas this time round for referring to him (Jesus) as his LORD and GOD if Thomas was wrong like the man in Luke 10:17-18? Thomas even didn't just refer to Jesus as being good but went even higher to refer to Jesus as LORD and GOD after his death and resurrection. Why didn't Jesus rebuke Thomas for referring to him as LORD and GOD if Thomas was wrong but accepted this high status this time round? The TRUTH is that, after the death and resurrection of Jesus, the status of Jesus changed from a mere man born of woman to LORD and GOD. That is why Jesus never bothered to correct Thomas because Thomas spoke the TRUTH concerning the current status of Jesus after his death and resurrection. This is the mystery that some of you and our Moslem brothers keep missing. Funny enough, just like our Moslem brothers some of you believe every verse in the Bible that does not challenge your theology. You strongly love those verses that back your attacks on Christians who see Jesus as God. However the moment one reveals some truth from the same Bible verses that shoots down all your arguments, you begin to claim that the Bible was written by human beings so there could be an error in the verse being used to challenge you. However for those verses which you conveniently use against Christians who see Jesus as God, everything is perfect. This always makes me laugh. 😃😃😃

@@emikinc I love what you have written so far but to let you know the context of what Thomas meant read the same John 20:31 which reads : But these have been written down so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and because of believing, you may have life by means of his name. The question is did it affirm your claim? No because psalm 82:6 reads I have said, ‘You are gods, All of you are sons of the Most High. So Thomas was calling him in that context not meaning he is the Almighty. Jesus is a mighty God so as you are 😂. Someone can do good to you and you can say you are my god due to the good someone has done to you and even that the Bible made example for us at Philips 3:19 Their end is destruction, and their god is their belly, and their glory is really their shame, and they have their minds on earthly things. So please don't come and defend what can't be defended. Let's follow Jesus Christ steps.

Or for the sake of argument you have all of a sudden forgotten the difference between using small "g" and capital "G" to differentiate between the Supreme or Almighty God and other gods who can be human beings or other things we get help from. Clearly, Thomas was referring to Jesus as the Almighty God and not the gods we see in Psalms 82:6. You know this clear distinction very well but you are deliberately overlooking it just to make your argument sound right. Just learn to be honest in your argument a bit. I hope you will not come back to say those who translated the Bible made a mistake by using capital "G" to represent the Almighty God at where Thomas referred to Jesus as God. Or for argument sake now the difference doesn't matter to you anymore.
