Hi Natasha: I watched this video and was intrigued by the cultural differences between Russian and North America women. In particular, women like yourself know how to budget and smart shop, and that is practical. Also, I hope that your hunt for an outfit is successful, and regardless of no makeup you still are lovely. Have a Merry Christmas dear lady and an Happy New Year.

The first outfit was the best, Natasha. Familiya reminds me of similar stores in USA like Marshall's and TJ Maxx. I love Greek food also. We have many Greek restaurants here in Chicago where I live (and other cities of Midwest USA like Detroit) and many other restaurants are owned by families of Greek heritage. Gyros is a very popular fast food here, and I'm going to go eat one it for lunch now 😊

Hey Natasha, in Serbia we kind of celebrate both in terms of holidays at least. Side note: In Belgrade we have young Russians to thank for developing our coffee drinking culture. The culture already exists, but Russians have opened up a number of coffee places with high quality coffee beans. If you are not a coffee snob yet, you have plenty of time to become one. Ethiopian is the best :)

The report that you did about the increase in price of clothing wear, one aspects of interest to me would be the label of where it was made. Then knock of a 1/3 or 1/2 and that's the real price it should be selling for. I learnt about that during the mid 80's to early 90's how thing's are done.

I don't have a lot of clothes either, most of it casual. In terms of price, average (certainly not too high), that is, € 30 to € 40 (in the Netherlands). For example, a pair of jeans will last a year or two. That's fine by me.

So funny to hear Russians playing "Jingle Bells." I am wondering how cold that is. Is there no snow in the winter in Kraznodar? The leaves are still on the trees. The store reminds me of Burlington Coat Factory. Tons of choices. I think those prices are crazy. We can go to discount stores and name brands for less money. And considering your salaries, no, I would not be buying many clothes in Russia, as you do. I like the first outfit. I would have bought the top which you can wear with a skirt. Like the black jacket very much. Did not like the blue dress, awful and baggy, wrinkly, did not fit right. Or the last short set. So yes to the first two. Lunch looked delish, a lot of food. I like the street decorations, very beautiful.

I would assume that Chinese fast fashion brands deliver to Russia without issues, as long as the issue with payment processing for online orders has been resolved. The silver crop top would match well with a jean skirt, that would be so Y2K, you would need a flip phone and silver highlighter in eye corners and pink lipstick to match it, and glitter - and everyone would think "damn, did I land in a time machine that took me to back to 2003?" :)

Lacoste is expensive in Canada, they have a Lacoste store at the Mall. I don't have any of their clothing but I have Fjallraven and Puma and American Eagle if I want the animal logos. Lately I have shopped at Tommy Hilfiger and the prices are decent just like with Puma or Levi's or Calvin Klein, etc. You can get lots of different brands at Costco, they have a little bit of many different brand names there so it is easy to just shop at Costco and than go specifically to one of the stores at the Mall if you want more of that brand name.

Thanks. I like diesel shirts for men as they’re tapered for a slim fit. But I always buy them on eBay instead of in a shop to save a lot of money. (I live in New York State.) I usually won’t pay more than $30 US for a shirt but if it’s exceptionally nice maybe $40. When I went to the diesel store in New York City several years ago similar shirts cost $150-$250! That’s how much the stores there mark up the same product which can be found elsewhere online. I would assume you’re unable to order items off eBay for shipping to Russia but perhaps when the war ends this will be an option.

It's not important to me to have a lot of clothes or a specific brand - and I don't think it is or should be in general. (the luxury brands prices are often quite ridiculous) What is important to me is clothes which are durable and warm. Other than that, it's good to have your own style and wear what makes you comfortable. Though I have to admit, since it gets really cold where I live, I invested in some very warm and sturdy but rather expensive combat boots a few years ago. I'll probably have them for the rest of my life, so the cost is relative. The food looks good. I love Italian food the most (not just pizza heh), but Greek is similar in some ways, so I can relate to that. I also wish you some peaceful and happy days. Take care! :)

In shadows deep, where secrets lie, Two paths diverge, one dark, one high. The eagle soars with freedom's might, While the bear prowls in the night. In Langley's halls, the whispers sing, Of liberty and what it brings. A world of knowledge, vast and wide, Where truth and justice do reside. But in the Kremlin's shadowed keep, The secrets there are dark and deep. A world of fear, where trust is thin, And shadows dance on every whim. So choose the path where freedom's light, Illuminates the darkest night. For in the land where eagles fly, The truth will always reach the sky.
