In the now infamous clip of Savile committing an offence whilst hosting Top Of The Pops, he was introducing a band called Chicago. Even though he had a distinctly odd manner of speaking, at times, the way he said Chicago really got my attention recently. To my ear, I'm convinced that he deliberately spaced out the syllables to effectively say "She can't go.". Baring in mind what he was doing as he said it, my suspicion is that he pre-planned to do what he did and say what he said to blatantly show you and tell you what he was doing. He was very crafty with words and wordplay, and got a kick out of finding ways to tell you the truth in ways which you wouldn't hear it. I'm convinced that he was deliberately making the word Chicago ambiguously sound similar to "She can't go." whilst putting someone in that very situation.
