Hi guys, So I decided to leave Amla oil on my hair overnight and I saw a lot of people on online use it and decided to also give it a try.

I revisited using this Amla oil as a pre- poo, shampooed then DC'd with henna mixed with Deep Conditiner. My 4C hair was very shiny and help moisture longer after washing.

Amla is so good for a pre-poo. And it also gives a shine to hair. My hair always feels soft after I use Amla.

I make my own amla oil from amla powder and safflower oil. The amla oil in that video has a petroleum base.

@@gilviananareal3796 I am not sure what language that is I speak English, French, Spanish, and Xhosa... But taking a guess I think you said you use coconut oil? I use safflower because it's the lightest oil and doesn't weigh my hair down.

Amla oil is great for your hair if it's high quality oil. Unless you're like me and getting it straight from India, it may be hard to find, but I've been told that the Amazon version is very good.

I haven’t seen many people with the same feeling as me, but this brand actually dries out my scalp. When I make my own, it’s fine. Maybe if I use this oil and infuse different herbs it’ll be better

Hello. This is my first week using the Amla after watching your videos on it. Right now I'm prepooing with it in my hair. I actually oiled my scalp with it a couple of days ago. I didn't wash it out. Do you prepoo every week with Amla? Also, have you started using it on your scalp throughout the week? You're hair looks beautiful.

So glad to hear from you. Last year I was using amla every week of my wash day and as a pre poo. I left amla on my hair and scalp a couple of times and it was totally fine. This year I plan on using amla every after two weeks because I realised that I was pre pooing quiet a lot last year and it took my wash day longer time. I also plan on leaving it on my scalp without washing it out because I don’t mind whatsoever
