I almost bought an FR3 several years ago. Didn't need an inspection-the dealer blew up the sale with some shady tactics, so we ran. Didn't need your help on that one, but these two were worth the inspection cost!

The one in Zephyrhills is I am right has other dealers in center Fl and one in Tallahassee. I have heard of them getting deposits, WATCH OUT.

That first RV dealer in Zephyr Hills, FL, with the foreign client and non refundable deposit was clearly out of bounds....should I say less than optimum? Here is a thought, and perhaps not my best one, but should private sellers get an independent inspection prior to selling? A good report will enhance the sale, a bad one should lead to repair or a fairer price.

As a retired Mass. Licensed Home Inspector, it is imperative to get a RV or Mobile Home inspected. Absolutely necessary!!

C4BO another Rv buyer saved! All those joint’s should be caulked with clear Lexel sealant. It doesn’t turn loose like silicone will. It’s crazy to ever put a deposit on anything especially if it’s not refundable deposit! Pit stop #1 was ready for the scrap yard! Pit stop #2 that salesman is a sleazy crook!

This always makes me laugh; it's not possible to "blow up a deal" unless someone is hiding something. When a seller doesn't bother to look, that is negligence on their part. When a dealer charges for a PDI that was not performed, that is theft. When a seller hides a problem or fails to reveal known problems to the customer, that is fraud. If that is what you are "blowing up," then guilty as charged. 😅
