It wasn't single-handed. There were a whole group of people working together. He was always adamant than he had so much help from others

That's a great point! It's important to recognize and acknowledge the contributions of others when we achieve success. No one accomplishes great things completely on their own.

Nicholas Winton died at the age of 106. If someone has helped him and has not yet been announced, that person must speak for himself. It is said that Sir Winton was able to save many children in a world war. Any discussion about it is absolutely disrespectful to me.
@katrose5179
@katrose5179 Жыл бұрын
@@barroque-musichow is it disrespectful? No one is arguing that he did not save children. Other people were part of it, according to him. He insisted on it. It is respectful to take him at his word.

Winton himself said he had helped. These were Doreen Warriner, Trevor Chadwick, Nicholas Stopford, Beatrice Wellington, Josephine Pike and Bill Barazetti. He also mentioned a special praise to Chadwick who actually continued the efforts after Winton had stopped.

He and his friends changed the world, 669 lives, He and his cohorts are amazing human beings. They exemplify empathy, something so lacking in today's world.

this video is cashing in on the memory of a great person. If you want to know the real story, it's probably worth checking more reputable links. He was a hero. This video deserves nothing from his bravery!

Remember that the prevalence of gentiles who acted to save Jewish people was extremely low. Almost all Jews caught in the holocaust died from it. Almost none of the gentiles tried to stop the holocaust. Such a horrific event could happen again. We must never let such a thing come to pass.

I noe dis is sum dogshit troll bait but i'll bite. First, did u just assume that the set can handle all 669 people at once? Second, they said he rescued them but there was nothing there that indicated that all of them came to the studio. the studio probably did invite them but couldn't fit all of them so some of them are probably outside. They even said afterwards that he can talk to them later, safe to assume we just hadn't seen all of them as there was no space. Third, some of those kids are probably dead, the youngest of them were probably around the age of 70 at the time that show was aired. I'd be more surprised if all 669 children he saved grew up to be that old. Life happens, not everyone can grow that old, some probably died to illness or some accident, we don't know that. Fourth, some probably didn't receive the message, it probably got lost or was still in transit at the time, maybe the person probably just didn't manage to read it. Fifth, distance. what? Did u think all the children he saved were neighbors? Some are probably too far to make it.
