i agree with your opening statement, but please remember you are not in the situation he was in, to know what drove him him to make that statement. We cannot condemn, we should empathize, because we are not in his shoes, i know the statement is not one a christian should make, but he was not in his senses, did you not hear the prophet say after he prays for him, he would regain his senses?
