Might I suggest a good durable 2 person size inflatable bed in case the heat goes out in the camper, to give you back up sleeping quarters if you lose heat again. And if you don't use the loft for anything else, you could go ahead and inflate the bed. Just a suggestion.

I love the look of excitement and pride on Kyle's face over his accomplishments. Very proud moment. Congratulations. I've heard peppermint oil helps with mice. Never tried it, but told to put on cotton balls wherever you think they're coming in. Needs to be done like weekly. If nothing else, the camper will smell good. 😂

Shannon, I’m watching Kyle walk around that room in the shed and every time he gets close to the window where the fuse box is I’m waiting for him to hit his head on the rafters. He comes within inches of hitting them I don’t know how are you gonna cover those rafters upwith ceiling material, but it’s only gonna bring it closer to the top of his head😂😂😂😂❤❤❤

On the electrical sockets the stores have a foam insulation that goes behind the plate before screwing the plate in. It helps with draft coming in from the sockets.

Hi Kyle and Shannon. This is one of the main reasons I love your channel. You’re not afraid to give something ago. You try try and try until you’ve accomplished. Maybe the odd time you ask for a helping hand but you still want to know how to do it. From the very first day to now your both amazing and come so far. The cabin looks so good and so happy that Shannon has the space to edit the videos away from the camper and use your old desk top. Great video as usual. Have a fantastic day take care and God bless 💕🙏

Do not cut your support brackets. You need them for snow and wind damage.
@barbarafecker Жыл бұрын
Spraying the foam insulation around the electrical openings will also help with keeping mice out.Any little hole & they will come in. Love how well you two work together. Hope Shannon's chandelier isn't going to hang to low for Kyle's height. You both should be so proud of how much you've learned in such a short time. ❤❤❤❤
@johnharrold6359 Жыл бұрын
I don't se any reason you couldn't cut those braces even with the 2x4's it wont affect the truss strength, you guys don't get super heavy snows any ways. Spray foam around the boxes, wires and windows would be a very good idea. Don't spare the spray foam, compressed fiberglass is useless.
@WistfulLioness Жыл бұрын
Cutting those little braces will weaken your roof greatly! Should wind load and snow load could cause damage, when insurance company comes out and does an inspection they would note that and possibly not cover the damage....Think of all the inspections Chad's place went thru.
@stevehawkins8066 Жыл бұрын
To be safe, you should contact the shed company to find out about the truss brackets. Another option you can do for the ceiling is to put additional 2x4's in to build out the ceiling so you can get additional space to put insulation in, to keep the cool/heat in if you're planning on covering up the ceiling.
@T-J-C Жыл бұрын
Shannon IS right about the whole "egress" thing 😋 And like others, I noted that the spray foam around where wiring comes in will help bunches to prevent, or at least slow down rodent ingress 😁 Shannon looks very happy in her nice warm, well wired shoffice!
