To use the adage "all that glitters is not gold" is so apt in describing the two best gowns, in my honest opinion, among the Top 18 delegates. The two best gowns are a study in contrast and yet both are iconic in their simplicity. I am talking about Bohol's white flowing gown, reminiscent of Oxana Fedorova's heavenly MU 2002 finals' gown. The other one is Makati's black figure-hugging piece, a unique style of its own. Both gowns are almost devoid of glitters, except for the silver accent on Makati's dress. In the end, the judges chose Makati as the best in long gown because of Dee's elegant and mesmerizing strut that elevated the gown to a higher level. In turn, the simplicity of the gown highlighted Michelle Dee's asset. That is what we refer to as synergy. Overall, both the gown and the wearer gave the essence of what haute couture (high fashion) really means. In the end, the black gown of Makati stood out from the sea of colors and glitters. (Note: The white gowns of Bohol and Isabela were of similar cut, thus, Bohol's was not truly a stand-out in the truest sense of the word).

MmD nailed it in evening gown wearing black gown with simple derails, very elegant, my other favorite in this segment was Zambales and Pampanga.,, Unfortunately Bohol was over hype,.in never saw the confidence in her and the white gown she wear.failed to emphasize her sexy figure, this was just my own opinion..

Michelle is the rightful one for the Best in EG award since sya ang pinili. On the other hand, I believe Krishnah was the most deserving one for the award. No bias. Justin pure observation of their performances (Catwalk, projection, pasarela, elegance and lastly the gown itself).

I dont quetion yung pagka panalo ni Makati kasi obvious naman nilamon niya ang Q&A talaga but I still cant move on sa Best in EG, if prelims sila nag base super ganda nung kay Zambales (The Soveriegn said on her vlog Zambales saved the EG round during prelims.) Tas sa finals if i rank their EG 1.Baguio 2. Zambales 3. Makati. Also felt bad for Isabela, her styling and EG both prelims and finals her team could've done better than that sayang.
