Bro 99 percentile and 70% Actually percentile and percentage are two different thing.. and 99 percentile means you are ahead of 99 in 100 people.(That's nearly 1st position.as their are lots of students)​..so I hope u got it now@@abeliever7136

​@@abeliever7136 percentage is the marks you get out of total marks (300). Eg. 186 marks is the cutoff of net. 186 /300 ×100 = 62% . Percentile is how well you have performed than all people in your subject. If you get 100 % percentile, it means you have AIR 1 and you have done better than everyone and 98% percentile means 98% people are behind you. You are in top 2%. If you score between 190 to 200 marks out of 300 you will clear NET easily. And if you score 220 and abive you will clear JRF. With 99 percentile easily. All the best.
