I listened to this while under the influence of DMT, ShockOne personally describes this song as a psychedelic and sonic journey through the universe. He explains this song to be the sound of a universe coming to its death. I witnessed this and he is 100% correct and on the money, Karl has absolutely hit the nail on the head with this song. Best song off the album by far.

Been listening to this song regularly for 5+ years. Each time it provides me with some kind of pure energy. This is magic, I cannot be bored while listening to it. It has everything: melody, emotion, power when it drops... Really this is one of my top 10 favourite songs of all time ♥

SHOCKONE --- Whoever you are. There have only been a few times that I have agreed with any modern artists being considered "musical virtuosos" or having created a "masterpiece". That is what you are, and that is what you have created. What an impressive display of talent. Seriously beautiful tracks and a beautiful story told throughout the entire album. Like the top comment, I am unsure if I want to share this unbelievable experience with others.

This has officially been my favorite song for 2 and a half years today. Something about it still gives me goosebumps every time I listen. That itself is hard to explain, and I don't know if this is just me personally. But this song after all this time still completes me. I can't get bored of it. Aleksander Vinter may still be my favorite author, but Shockone was the maker of my favorite song for a such a large portion of the time I've spent listening to music in comparison to how music usually bored the human mind. That can't be outmatched. Making something better than this would be enough to die happy, to put it into perspective. Music is my everything and this song nearly completes it.

+Paul Godden This track gives the listener a sense of purpose and forwardness. In the prelude, you come face-to-face with your challenges and fears, determined to push pass them somehow. Then, the driving, pulsing, but dampened uplifting drop empowers you as you step into your challenges and fears and work to overcome them. The bridge is when you need to catch your breath and the pressure almost breaks you, but you build up one final push and surge through them. In the end piano, you are looking back at what you have accomplished: all the good memories you had, all the new and empowering experiences you were exposed to; and you turn around and walk away, ready to embrace whatever comes next with the knowledge that life will never be perfect, but you will try to make it the best you can (the final resolve.) A cycle, but one full of light.

really?! shit, im glad im not the only one. i love the progression up to the climax, and then breaking it down at the end for like a minute. i love the drop, so so badly! i love the fact that the song is so long, the eargasm just lasts that much longer than if it wouldn't have been so long. i love that it sounds so epic. i love that after more than 3 years it still has that same feel, that it still pumps me up and fills me with emotion as begins and ends. i tried my best, but i honestly cant really describe what this song is, or means to me. in all my years i haven't found anyone that shared this as his/her favorite song. im really glad im not alone on this ^^

Infinity is just a changeless quality of the mind And within that changeless quality, everything arises If we talk about space, we think, "it's infinite." And our mind is often compared to space There's gonna be an end... If there's an end, there's a beginning If there's one universe finishing There'll be another one starting

Beautiful intro mate, and the arpeggio synth reminds me of Spiral by Vangelis, which truly is a good thing. I would so love to hear you remixing one of those classics, it would probably be even better than the Sub Focus version a few years ago... Keep up the good work Shocky, this is my fav from the album and your best work ever in my opinion, though Polygon is a very close runner-up =)

I've got the key signature (d-flat major) and some of the basic melody but I just can't figure out the whole thing. It's bugging me cause I really want to learn this!! -too bad I suck at the piano (and everything for that matter)-
@PhillipH-san8 жыл бұрын
+Phillip H okay maybe I was wrong. The melody is in d-flat but I've figured out the basic chord progression and it includes e-flat major which isn't a part of the d-flat major key. What is going on? Can anybody help me in my ignorance??

+Phillip H I can imagine, those arpeggios are going to be tricky in conjunction with the big chords!

Chris James Yeah, I don't think I'll ever be able to figure those out. I'm not even very good at the piano. Even if I could figure them out I doubt I'd be able to play them anyway. But I figured out the gist of it
