Are all of these ride heights assuming the stock diameter tire? The OEM tire is a 28", I have 30" tires, does that mean the ride height should be 14 1/2" front and 14" rear with a 30" tire?

Always add your tire height to our measurements. 28 to 30” tire would add 1” 👍🏼

Raise preload nut and raise cross over. But those are minor changes. The shock internals are a massive improvement in plush ride for a Honda

I. You always add right height for taller tires. If stock was a 30” tire and you have 35’s the you add 2.5” to all our ride height numbers. 👍🏼

Why do the spring ends half to be opposite of each other when installing?

Keeps the divider as straight as possible which keeps the springs straight and rubs the Shock body and cross over the least amount.

So is the rear crossover set to 7 and 1/4 or 7 and 3/4? He says a 1/4 but the caption at the bottom says 3/4. By the looks of the video and tape measure, they had the example set to 7 and 1/2. Confused or does it really matter that much?

Eric Russell 7 3/4. It is not that critical. Once you drive it you can adjust up and down 1/2” at a time and feel what you like or don’t

@@ShockTherapyllc thanks...I just set those to 7 3/4. I upgraded the caps to shrader valves ....do you recommend 200psi nitrogen all the way around with shocks extended? Factory checked out to fronts at 100 and rears at 150. 100 seems low to me. Trashing the rubber self healers as I think they are prone for leakages .

Eric Russell run 150 psi. Over that rides rougher in chop. Less than that can affect bump stage if PSI was to get below 120.

Noticed when he removed lower bolts the head was inside and nut outside , when he put them back together head was outside and nut inside. Is this by intention or just doesn't matter. Great video otherwise
